This is a sample web version of Strong College’s admission schedule for admission in the academic year 2000–2001. Applicants were required to submit a printed copy of the separate Strong College Application and also supply a Recommendation Form to their recommenders and have it mailed to the Strong College Office as well. Electronic applications and recommendations were not accepted.

STRONG COLLEGE WELCOMES applications from all incoming and returning UNCG students, both undergraduate and graduate, regardless of class or major. If you wish to be considered for admission to Strong College please complete and submit the separate Strong College Application and the separate Recommendation Form by the appropriate deadline listed below. You may also wish to print a copy of this admission schedule for your own reference. The dates below pertain to admission to the Strong College program only. Admission to Strong College is contingent upon admission to the University and completion of the standard on-campus housing contract issued by the University’s Office of Housing and Residence Life.

We will continue to accept applications after these deadlines have passed, but late applications may not receive full consideration and there may no longer be space available.

These dates apply to all applicants, both undergraduate and graduate.

For admission in Fall Semester 2000 (returning UNCG students)

11 February 2000: Completed applications must be received in the Strong College Office.

21 February 2000: Decisions will be announced for Fall 2000 admission.

For admission in Fall Semester 2000 (incoming students)

FOR EARLY NOTIFICATION:

  1 March 2000: Completed applications must be received in the Strong College Office.

  1 April 2000: Decisions will be announced for Fall 2000 admission.

FOR REGULAR NOTIFICATION:

  10 May 2000: Completed applications must be received in the Strong College Office. (Applications may be submitted after this date as well, but will be reviewed only if space is available.)

  31 May 2000: Decisions will be announced for Fall 2000 admission.

For admission in Spring Semester 2001 (all students)

20 November 2000: Completed applications must be received in the Strong College Office.

30 November 2000: Decisions will be announced for Spring 2001 admission.
