“College Life and the Annual Cycle” is Available

8 July 2001 (collegiateway.org) — I have added a new major page on residential college life and the annual cycle to the Collegiate Way website, and I invite you to pay it a visit. The page is filled with recommendations on how to structure the life of a residential college, what sorts of events and activities to encourage, what sorts of traditions to establish, how to weave a dense social fabric through the week, month, and year, and much more. Nearly all the recommendations are based on my own experience and are known to be effective. I hope you will pay a visit to the page and see what you can find that may help you in your own work, or that you can adjust to suit the needs of your own institution.
