The Role of Residential College Deans (in a nutshell)

3 January 2005 (collegiateway.org) — What is the role of residential college deans or senior tutors? My colleague Stephen Sykes, the principal of St. John’s College at the University of Durham, says their role is “to be fierce to the foolish and kind to the crumpled.” I couldn’t have put it better.
