“Residential College Buildings and Grounds” is Online

— Another new page has been added this week to the “How To Build A Residential College” section of the Collegiate Way website, this one on Buildings and Grounds of Residential Colleges. I am not an architect, and so this section is not so much about the actual construction of new college buildings as it is a discussion of the types of spaces (common rooms in particular) that a residential college ought to have. I also say a few words on how college grounds can function to support a college’s educational mission. I’m grateful to Mark Hoversten for helpful suggestions on a preliminary version of the page, and I welcome comments from all of you.
